The Origin of the game.
Before Chess had Queens
Before Kings castled
Before boards were black and white
There was Chaturaṅga
Born in ancient India, Chaturaṅga was the earliest form of the game –
a battle of strategy, foresight and balance. Its name translates to ‘ four
divisions of the army.’ Every move carries intention, every piece has
purpose.
Indian inspired ornaments, vibrant colours in pink and fiery orange lead
the palette with accents of emerald green and royal purple – with the
traditional chess board of black and white highlights.
